Another Rich Guy 'Nailing it' on the Social Contract & Taxes

There are two theories on 'trickle down' economics. Actually there is only one. I am making up the new one.

Trickle down #1 - Cut taxes, cut government and all of the potential wealth that is locked up in those taxes and funding big Government will be unleashed.

An economic boom.

In the real World that doesn't work :
Cutting taxes :

And cutting Government EXCEPT for the military -

http://www.examiner.com/independent-in-orlando/tax-day-2010-most-of-every-dollar-you-pay-federal-taxes-is-spent-on

'The correct answer may be that 53% of the federal tax being collected in 2010 has already been allocated for defense spending'.

Trickle Down #2 - Raise taxes to fund Government that needs to fill in when the Private sector can't (or won't) and switch the Government from 53% of every dollar being spent on the military to SBA loans, State job training funding, infrastructure projects and social services (Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid). GET PEOPLE TO FRICK'N WORK AND THEY TAKE THE BURDEN OFF OF GOVERNMENT AND CONTRIBUTE TO REVENUE!!!!

HOW

HARD

IS

THAT

TO

UNDERSTAND?

Mark Cuban :

'Make a boatload of money. Pay your taxes. Lots of taxes. Hire people. Train people. Pay people. Spend money on rent, equipment, services. Pay more taxes'.

'When you make a shitload of money. Do something positive with it. If you are smart enough to make it, you will be smart enough to know where to put it to work'.

'I don’t care what anyone says. Being rich is a good thing. Not just in the obvious sense of benefiting you and your family, but in the broader sense.  Profits are not a zero sum game. The more you make the more of a financial impact you can have'.

'I’m not against government involvement in times of need. I am for recognizing that  big public companies will  continue to cut jobs in an effort to prop up stock prices, which in turn stimulates the need for more government involvement.  Every cut job by the big companies extracts a cost on the American people in one way or another'.
