Issues - Obstruction - Setting the Republican (teabagger) agenda

'At our 25th college reunion in 2003, Grover Norquist — the brain and able spokesman for the radical right — and I, along with other classmates who had been in public or political life, participated in a lively panel discussion about politics. During his presentation, Norquist explained why he believed that there would be a permanent Republican majority in America'.

'One person interrupted, as I recall, and said, “C’mon, Grover, surely one day a Democrat will win the White House.”

'Norquist immediately replied: “We will make it so that a Democrat cannot govern as a Democrat.”

Go ahead and start the blame game of 'well Democracts have done it too'...................

'Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell‘s remarkably honest confession to National Journal‘s Major Garrett that “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”

'“Obama is on the ropes; why do we appear ready to hand him a win?” said one senior House Republican aide who requested anonymity to discuss the matter freely'.

Republicans set filibuster record :

The Democrats held the Majority in both the 110th and 111th Congress in both Houses.
And only held a filibuster proof Senate from July 2009 to Janurary 2010. 6 Months.

And I could go on and on as to examples. But again go ahead and do the blame game of 'well Democrats have done it too'.

Yes they did. But you deal with what's in front of you.

Our Nation's infrastructure is crumbling. A third or more of the work force is unemployed or underemployed. We have record poverty levels.

THAT is what's in front of us.

This is what 'Occupy Wall Street' should be protesting.

Gridlock at a time of crisis.

Stagnation at a time of suffering.

Political Party above Country.

This is why we as a Nation are and will fail.

And more and more people are realizing that it was the Republicans, in fear of the teabaggers in Congress, that brought us to the verge of a Government shutdown in April. It was the Republicans, fearfull of the teabaggers in Congress that brought us almost to default, sending economic waves through the Nation and the World.

That it is the Republicans, fearfull of the teabaggers in Congress, lead by US Representative Eric (The Ass) Cantor that won't even debate the American Jobs Act.

THIS is the issue. THIS is the ideological war. Political Party Above Country.

We are on the brink of collaspe. Keep cutting taxes. Keep cutting the size of Government. Keep cutting regulations.

Keep cutting away at America and soon there won't be an America left.

All because Republicans have become afraid of a small minority within their party.

THE ONLY ISSUE SHOULD BE PUTTING AMERICA BACK TO WORK.
